Namid says: I was thrilled and honored when I first heard of this project. I knew instantly that it would be a tremendously powerful book, and it is. Through this project, I have had the honor to meet and work with amazing survivors from around the world! This book has touched me in more ways than one. The emotional impact of the outpouring we have received since starting this project has been phenomenal, to say the least. Each story is so poignant, so genuine.
